College Board Certified AP Courses:

The Phoenix Desert APSI® is pleased to announce the dates for our institutes for summer 2022.

This is our 20th year serving Arizona schools by providing College Board Certified® endorsed summer institutes in Tucson and Phoenix. We are proud to partner in Tucson with the Tucson Unified School District and in Phoenix with the Paradise Valley Unified School District to bring you these outstanding institutes.

Our presenters are trained and endorsed by the College Board, annually receiving excellent ratings by their attendees. Last year our Online Institutes were attended by teachers across the country and internationally. As career educators at all levels we firmly believe that well trained AP teachers are the key to AP student success. We invite you to join us this coming summer for a rewarding experience.

Gifted Techniques Work For ALL Students!!

Philosophically speaking . . .

  • We use specific, research-based strategies and techniques that are prescribed to meet the needs of gifted learners.

  • Practice indicates that these techniques should only be used with identified gifted students. The TRUTH is these techniques work with all students when modified to fit their individual learning needs.

  • It is mandatory that we adjust our thinking and apply these techniques and strategies for all students in order to close the learning gaps created by the pandemic.

  • Our professional development training sessions will enable teachers to meet the learning needs for ALL students.

Our consultants are . . .

  • Trained professionals in the research-based techniques and strategies that improve achievement.

  • Practicing teachers, currently working with gifted students every day.

  • Proven teacher professional developers with years of positive feedback.

  • Experienced with guiding reluctant educators to change their classroom practices!

What your teachers will learn . . .

  • How to become better at meeting the needs of gifted learners.

  • How to close the learning gap created by the pandemic.

  • To move toward a gifted endorsement to enrich their educational portfolio.

  • To become motivated to address the individual learning needs for each student!
